One of the best ways to experience Suffolk is on two wheels.

Quiet country lanes, charming villages, independent cafés and beautiful countryside are all waiting to be explored.

Whether you're heading out for a leisurely ride, cycling to lunch or simply exploring somewhere new, we hope our bikes help you make the most of your stay.

Below you'll find everything you need to know before setting off.

Collecting Your Bike

Guests hiring bikes will receive a personal bike shed access code before their stay.

To unlock the bike shed

Press any button to wake the lock.
Enter your personal access code.
Press the unlock button (bottom right).
The door will unlock.
To lock the door - close it to, type your code and long press the round button - middle bottom of the lock

Finding your bike

Inside the bike shed you'll find the keys hanging on the wall.
Each bike, key and lock has a matching coloured sticker.
Choose a colour and you're ready to explore.

Looking After Your Bike

Always lock your bike whenever you leave it.
Keep the key with you.
Avoid leaving the bikes overnight away from The Firs.
When you return, lock the bike and hang the key back on the matching hook.

Before You Set Off

Before heading off, please take a quick moment to check:

Tyres feel firm.
Saddle height is comfortable.
Brakes are working correctly.
You have your bike key with you.
